Bobby Woods

SAYLE Executive Director

Bobby Woods Singer and songwriter based in the Midlands, has performed around the world, entertaining audiences with his warmth, charm and a truly distinctive voice. His music ranges from soul to gospel, blues, reggae and the great jazz classics. He tragically lost a nephew in a stabbing incident in London in July 2006 and remains hopeful that positive acation can save other families from experiencing this tragic and unnecessary loss of life. Bobby has a long and well respected track-record working as a consultant and conflict resolution advisor to young people in schools, residential, foster and secure care homes, providing workshops to target specific issues such as behaviour and anger management to raising self-esteem for children of all ages.

Mark Ashfield FCA (Treasurer)

Director, Harrison Beale & Owen, Leamington Spa

A director and chartered accountant with Harrison Beale & Owen, graduated from Liverpool in 1993, trained with a mid-tier accounting firm in Wolverhampton before working for 5 years at Grant Thornton in Birmingham prior to joining HBO in 2002. A life long Liverpool FC supporter, he is keen golfer and snooker player.

It should be noted that two directors which are the main trustees of the charity are also directors of 'SAYLE Action', A Community Interest Company. .

Christine Kelly (Trustee)

Christine is closely involved with the group "Mothers in Pain" whose aims are closely linked with the objectives of Sayle. Christine will be working closely with the charity to help bring the aims and objectives of both organisations closer together.

Bishop Derek Webley We are delighted to have Bishop Derek Webley as patron of 'Save A Young Life Everyday'. His involvement in the Birmingham community has been acknowledged through the awarding of an MBE as well as his role within the church communities and council which he provides in conjunction with the West Midlands Police. He personally has overseen the burials of 8 young people as a result of gun and knife crime. His pastoral guidance is primarily associated with the New Testament Church of God in Birmingham.
